“Other people’s children are also our children.” The first time I read this in T.C.SIANG's "The Language of Drawing", I thought it sounded too “grand”. How could I possibly embrace other people’s children when I can barely keep up with my own?

As parents, educators, caregivers, the difficulty might not come as “how do I teach”, but rather, learning to observe, listen and stepping back. After all, we are used to seeking answers, and affirmations. But once the answer is gained, does learning stop?

The very first sharing of T.C.SIANG's debut book "The Language of Drawing" began quietly at Well Played - his first stop of a global journey.

This was something we never thought possible. And yet, it is often these small, unlikely things that are worth attempting.

This September holiday, we brought masak-masak (pretend play) to the painter’s palette and pot-holder canvas. Using everyday ingredients, purples, blues, yellows and more were “cooked” up in our “play” studio.

24.08.25 was our very first outdoor sketch session as we explored our neighbourhood - Clementi. Together we created another Sunday filled with stories, lines, and laughter.
