As parents, educators, caregivers, the difficulty might not come as “how do I teach”, but rather, learning to observe, listen and stepping back. After all, we are used to seeking answers, and affirmations. But once the answer is gained, does learning stop?

This September holiday, we brought masak-masak (pretend play) to the painter’s palette and pot-holder canvas. Using everyday ingredients, purples, blues, yellows and more were “cooked” up in our “play” studio.
