  • My 7-year-old son absolutely loves his weekly art lessons at Well Played! The classes are always so creative and soothing, something he really looks forward to each week. Unlike traditional art studios, they embrace messes and encourage freestyle art creation inspired by each child’s imagination. After eight classes, I have noticed he is more observant, curious, and imaginative in daily life. I am especially thankful to the teachers, who have been so kind and patient. My son is usually quite shy, but he has really opened up during the lessons. We’re so glad to have found this wonderful art studio!

  • The space is calming and inspiring, allowing you to focus on your purpose which is art or creation. The owners seem to be very supportive in that each child, adult and person is unique and do not force results. Which is something I’ve been concerned about forever - that the art piece my child is taking home is not really authentic to my child but a result of fixed goal that teachers or the school sets. The world is stressful enough and well played feels like an oasis amongst all the other art schools out there that can nurture a true artist and not just a ‘child who can draw’. I also like that there are quite a few weekday and weekend slots even on Sundays which is a huge plus for me. It’s hidden all the way at the end of a row of shops which adds to that hole in the wall calming situation.

  • I went with zero expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The name “art and play” really fits. It’s not just for kids — it’s a cosy community space where like-minded people can hang out, create, and be themselves. If you’re like me, afraid of cold commercial studios, i assure you this is a safe space with no judgment. You can check them out, have tea, and enjoy the handmade art around. Most of the creation are made by the folks themselves who really value imperfection and sustainability. One nice touch is how they include Mandarin elements to intrigue many on the fun of learning this mother tongue which most of us might not even know how to say herbs like anise in Mandarin before. If you’re a first-timer curious about what art can do for you, this is a great place to start. There is no hard selling, just genuine community bonding — where raw craft meets freedom! Definitely worth a visit.

  • Well Played left a deep impression on me, because of their simplicity, open-ness and approach to art and life. These are very precious values in times like now where daily life happens so quickly. They have a very nice and cosy studio, inspire and encourage freedom of personal expression, in diverse forms of art. I find that they are not just a place that teaches art, but a place where one may make new discoveries during the process. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space. ❤️
