The very first sharing of T.C.SIANG's (aka Teoh's) debut book "The Language of Drawing" began quietly at Well Played - his first stop of a global journey. (It felt almost unreal and we could hardly believe it ourselves.)
This was something we never thought possible. And yet, it is often these small, unlikely things that are worth attempting. We are grateful that Teoh accepted our invitation, planning his first flight in 8 years to bring his words here to Singapore.
So what did everyone miss?
What exactly did Teoh share?
You may find the answers waiting quietly in the pages of his book, now sitting on the shelves of Well Played, and Mahayuyi Bookstore.
In truth, it wasn't complicated at all. The gathering was intimate, with only a small circle present. Instead of a scripted "mainstream" book launch, we simply had a heartfelt conversation - something rare these days, and therefore even more precious. In the end, it felt less like an event, and more like a Mid-Autumn gathering among friends.
Perhaps that was the gift - a simple, warm space where conversations flowed without the weight of stage or formality. At Well Played, we hope to remind everyone to slow down. Only in slowing can we notice the overlooked details, the quiet feelings that nourish us, whether tender or difficult. The world moves quickly, but we choose another pace: slow, deep, and true. A journey of learning through warm, honest conversations, one person at a time.

张老师的第一本著作《孩子有画说》，在全球首场新书分享会的第一站——艺起玩，悄悄展开了。

对番茄🍅和伙伴们来说，这一切依然有些“不真实”。或许，正是这些看似“不可能”的小事，才更需要有人去尝试。感谢张老师跨海而来，在狮城开启这段分享的旅程。
那天，来的人不算多。也正因为如此，气氛变得格外简单、亲切。张老师和艺起玩的理念不约而同——我们不想走“主流”的发布会形式，而是选择一种更自在的方式，把交流放在第一位。于是，它变成了一场近似中秋聚会的温柔夜晚。
